Training and qualifications
Nicole is a dentist with a special interest in oral surgery, conscious sedation, and dental implantology.
Nicole graduated with distinction from Queen’s University Belfast in 2013. She then gained valuable experience in oral surgery, special care dentistry, and maxillofacial surgery within the hospital setting before joining Fortwilliam Specialist Clinic in 2016.
In 2019, Nicole earned a Diploma in Conscious Sedation from the University of Newcastle. She has been educating others on this subject since then, initially lecturing online for NIMDTA and more recently providing onsite training for practices and delivering a lecture day as part of the NEBDN dental sedation nursing training course. Nicole has developed a bespoke mentorship program for dentists wishing to qualify in the provision of conscious sedation, with all cases conducted and supervised on-site at Fortwilliam.
In 2019, Nicole also completed the Dentsply foundation implant course led by Mark Diamond at Fortwilliam. She is currently in the final year of her MSc in Dental Implantology at the University of Salford.
