Amit trained in oral maxillofacial surgery as the second on-call senior surgeon. This included providing implant surgery in severe resorption cases, cancer reconstructive cases, trauma reconstructions, cleft lip and palate cases and hypodontia cases.

Amit's areas of interest are immediate implant placement and restoration, full mouth rehabilitation, complex grafting, digital planning and guided surgery. He places approximately 500 to 600 implants each year and performs many implant-related bone reconstructive grafting cases, for example block grafts and sinus lifts.

Since 2009, he has worked as an implant dentist with his main focuses being surgery and using digital guidance to reduce complications.
