A warm welcome to Menai Bridge Dental Practice in Anglesey
At Menai Bridge we pride ourselves on putting patients first. Set on the beautiful Menai Strait, we offer a relaxed comfortable atmosphere where our patients know we have time to listen to their dental needs.
Offering a full range of services, from general dentistry to cosmetic and more complex treatments, our practice has an excellent reputation among the dental community. We accept dentist referrals for all our treatments, and can also see patients without a referral.
Dental treatments and services
In addition to general dentistry, our comprehensive range of treatments includes implants, periodontal work, orthodontics, teeth whitening and veneers, and complex restorative work. We also offer sedation on request.
Referring to us
We accept referrals for all of our treatments, with patients being returned to their usual dentist’s care as soon as treatment is completed. We’re also happy to see patients who haven’t been referred by their dentist, offering them a free consultation over a cup of coffee with either the practice manager or the treatment co-ordinator.
How to find us
We’re easy to find, being located just off the Main High Street in Menai Bridge.
Although we don’t have an on-site car park, there are several car parks within easy walking distance of the Practice. The main one – a large pay and display – can be accessed via a small side road from the High Street, to the left of the Buckley Arms. We’re located on the exit road back to the High Street.
There are several bus routes to Menai Bridge from surrounding areas, and Bangor Train Station is a short taxi or bus journey away.

Patient feedback

Of our patients surveyed would recommend our practice to others.
-
Of our patients surveyed say ‘I feel involved in all decisions about my care.’
"I decided to have veneers after years of grinding my front teeth. Each stage of the process was painless, with excellent care from the whole team. I’m so pleased with the outcome and can truthfully say I have achieved a ‘smile to be proud of’. "
"All staff I came into contact with were pleasant and polite. Mike Hughes, who carried out my treatment, is an excellent dentist and helped to keep me relaxed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone requiring dental treatment – whether a check-up or more complicated dental surgery. "
Whitening can be an important part of a smile makeover. We always check the suitability of your teeth, as it may not be recommended for some patients with high sensitivity. It’s important to know that we may not be able to treat all of your teeth: whitening can’t alter the colour of fillings, crowns, veneers, for example. Your dentist can explain and suggest any options open to you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
