Lindsey qualified from the Eastman Dental Hospital (UCLH) in 2002 with a qualification in dental hygiene from the Royal College of Surgeons. She has since worked in a specialist periodontal practice and in general dental practice.

She is an active member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy (BSDHT). The aspect of her career she most enjoys is patient guidance and education in the prevention of periodontal disease.
