Training and qualifications

Tom Aldridge received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Bristol in 2000. He completed vocational training in Nottingham before returning to Bristol to pursue a career in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

He completed his medical training at Southampton University in 2008 and completed basic surgical training and specialist training in oral and maxillofacial training in 2005. Tom has published widely across this field and has presented his knowledge on an international level.

Tom holds keen interests in facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, skin surgery and dentoalveolar surgery. As well as working at Wessex, he also works as an oral and maxillofacial consultant at The Queen Alexandra Hospital with active interests in facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, skin surgery and dentoalveolar surgery.
