The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre Our team

Dr Alistair Bunting is a highly experienced UK dentist with a particular interest in complex restorative dentistry and implant rehabilitation, including both fixed and removable implant-supported prostheses.

Angus can provide a wide range of orthodontic treatments and is an orthodontic specialist as recognised with the General Dental Council.

Ben is a registered specialist in oral surgery with a particular interest in complex dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal.

With experience working in hospitals and dental services, Bernadette Shipley now focuses on restorative endodontic dentistry. She is experienced in treating nervous patients and children.

Fiona is a general dentist at the dental centre.

Michael is a specialist in prosthodontics who has won several awards for his aesthetic dentistry work. He has lectured both in the UK and internationally about implant dentistry.

Michael Norman is an enthusiastic and friendly dental practitioner, who went on to do a maxillofacial/oral surgery post at the Royal London Hospital for one year.

Michael provides fixed and removable solutions for worn, broken and missing teeth and is a GDC registered specialist in prosthodontics.

Mina is a general dental practitioner at the centre.

Richard is a registered specialist oral surgeon with experience in complex dental conditions, wisdom tooth surgery and dental implants.

Dr Shubhra Mantri is a registered specialist in periodontics. She accepts referrals for complex or advanced periodontal disease, surgical treatments, dental implant complications.

Somayeh is a General Dental Council registered specialist in endodontics, with a focus on complex restorative problems.

Stephen is one of our specialists in oral surgery and has extensive experience fitting implants and performing bone grafting procedures.

Tom Aldridge received his BDS from the University of Bristol in 2000. Tom holds keen interests in facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, skin surgery and dentoalveolar surgery.

Thomas has followed a pathway that allows him to focus on his special interests of cosmetic dentistry and prosthodontics, with a particular interest in complex rehabilitation.

Jennie qualified from King's College London in 2000.

Naomi has worked in dentistry since 1997, starting as a dental nurse. She qualified as a dental hygienist and therapist in 2008.

Claire has worked in dentistry for over 20 years, qualifying in 2018 from Portsmouth University in Dental Hygiene and Dental.

Tom has worked in dentistry since 2007, qualifying as a dental hygienist and dental therapist in 2012.

Win graduated with a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene and therapy from the University of Portsmouth in 2022

Joining us in 2020, Charlotte works alongside Bernadette Shipley and Dr Benedict Davies.

Alice joined The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre in 2022 .

Donna joined our centre in 2018 and helps support Dr Fiona Keoghane.

Katie has worked with us since 2020. She works alongside Dr Alistair Bunting.

Kirsty joined The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre in 2023 .

Marie began working with us in 2013. She's an experienced dental nurse and supports Dr Alistair Bunting.

Joined the Wessex Dental Specialist Centre in 2022.

Sam is a dental nurse and has worked at The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre since 2021.

One of our dental nurses, Tatiana has worked at our practice since 2020. She supports dentists Dr Benedict Davies, Dr Rajiv Anand, Dr Richard Ramsey and Stephen Taylor.

Laura joined our practice in 2022 and works with the oral surgery team.

Claire joined us as a receptionist in 2021. She enjoys being a part of our dedicated team.

One of our friendly receptionists, Debbie began working with us in 2020.

Our centre manager, Alice has worked with us since 2004. She's passionate about supporting our patients and the whole team.

Our centre coordinator, Kerry has worked with us since 2011. She enjoys being a part of our supportive team.

Our centre secretary, Cath has worked at The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre since 2007.

Joined the Wessex Dental Specialist Centre in 2023.

Rebecca is a Practice Co-ordinator and has worked at The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre since 2012.

Our lead receptionist, Sam joined us in 2011 and enjoys assisting our patients.

Zoe joined the reception team in 2023.

Rebecca became a part of our friendly reception team in 2019.
