Gavin graduated from the University of Manchester in 2004, with distinction, and was awarded the Charles Preston Medal for his performance as well as the British Dental Association prize for the best overall performance throughout his final year. During this time, Gavin completed his diploma for the Membership of Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. After undertaking training in implant dentistry with the Centre for Advanced Dental Education, he extended Gavin's skillset by successfully completing a postgraduate diploma in implant dentistry with the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners and the Royal College of Surgeons England.

After graduating and completing Gavin's vocational training, he undertook two years of general professional training with the North West Deanery. He now focuses all Gavin's time on oral surgery and implant dentistry, where he offers NHS oral surgery referrals, private oral surgery treatments, dental implants, bone grafts and IV sedation. Most of his time is spent caring for our anxious patients, which is something Gavin takes great pride in. He is happy to accept referrals for dental implants, extractions, and treatment under IV sedation. He has recently co-authored a journal article on implant dentistry for the British Dental Journal.
