Hi, my name is Luca Nigrelli.

I am a general dentist with an interesting cosmetic dentistry working at Bupa Dental Care London Bank that I am a general dentist at heart with an interesting cosmetic dentistry.

We always start with general dentistry, so diagnosing, treating, preventing dental disease, whether that's gum disease, tooth decay, tooth surface loss like erosion from acidic drinks.

Once we've got that all under control, but then we can move into the cosmetic dentistry.

So it's making the smile prettier essentially sort of dentistry.

It ties in nicely with cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic dentistry because everyone wants their teeth to look nice and doesn't matter whether you're working on the back teeth or the front teeth, you want them to look lovely, but you want them to be healthy and functional.

So you want to be able to chew on them without getting pain.

So that's, that's the aim of restorative dentistry is it's the, the nuts and bolts and then the cosmetic dentistry is the, I see it on the cake.

It gives the patient a level of confidence that they've never had before and the confidence to smile.

And that's, that's a huge thing and really can change someone's life.

It's a really nice simple way to straighten your teeth.

You wear clear retainers for 22 hours a day.

You take them out to eat, drink and brush your teeth, change them every week.

Every week that tray gets slowly more and more towards your dream smile and after roughly about six months you end up with nice straight teeth.

I use a digital scanner on a daily basis.

Me and the patient can then look at their teeth on the screen and essentially take a tour of their mouth.

This means that when we're taking that tour of their mouth, we can come up with a plan together.
