Fiona began her career in dentistry straight out of school at 16 and worked as a dental nurse for 11 years before taking time out to raise her family. After a brief detour in retail, Fiona returned to the world of dentistry, initially on reception but quickly realising that her true passion was in dental nursing. She went on to requalify — a decision she describes as the best one she’s made.

Fiona joined Bupa Dental Care in 2021 and thanks to her dedication and natural leadership skills, she was promoted to lead nurse just two years later (something she counts as her proudest career achievement). In her current role, Fiona manages the nursing team, oversees stock and rotas, handles audits, and supports the professional development of her team. Known for being approachable, supportive, and a great listener, Fiona brings warmth and calm to the busy practice environment.

Outside of work, Fiona loves watching rugby and enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her two beloved Westies.
