Michael enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and values meeting and building relationships with all patients. He has a particular interest in routine restorative dentistry and periodontology (treatment of gum disease).

Originally from a small village outside of Helensburgh, Michael graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2019 and completed his vocational training year on the Isle of Bute. He has since relocated to Fife and joined the team at Bupa Dental Care St Andrews.

In his final year of university, he was awarded the Pitt-Ford Prize from the British Endodontic Society as the most distinguished undergraduate in the field of endodontology (root canal treatment).

Chris enjoys all aspects of dentistry but particularly enjoys root canal treatment and cosmetic restorations which involve composites (white fillings), crowns and bridgework.

After qualifying in 1991, Neville worked in a busy dental practice in central London. During this time, he undertook clinical posts in oral surgery at Guy’s Dental Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital, which helped him gain further experience in dealing with more complicated surgical procedures. In 1995, Neville achieved the postgraduate qualification of Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons.

After working in practice for four years, Neville spent some time travelling through Southeast Asia and Australia. While in Australia, he crewed on a boat to Papua New Guinea and the Soloman Islands. When visiting Honiara, the capital of the Soloman Islands, he had the opportunity to work at the local dental clinic treating the island inhabitants. In 1997, Neville reached New Zealand where he worked in private practices in the North and South Islands until 2000.

He returned to the UK in 2000 to work in the clinical team for a dental business. As the business grew, Neville became involved in setting up new dental surgeries and training the dental teams.
