Hossam quickly developed a special interest in Endodontics (root canal) completing a residency program at the University of Cairo, where he developed a strong foundation in root canal treatments.

Working as a General Dental Practitioner with a special interest in endodontics in Egypt until September 2019, Hossam then moved to the UK to further enhance his expertise with an MSc in Endodontics from the University of Manchester in 2022.
