She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but is particularly passionate about cosmetic dentistry and short-term cosmetic orthodontic treatments, including Invisalign Go and Go Plus.

Anna continued her training at Liverpool Dental Hospital and qualified as a dental hygienist in 1991, after which she spent a few years working in general practice before taking a role as a dental hygienist in Saudi Arabia. Anna returned to the UK to study dental therapy in Manchester in 2011 and is now a valued member of our Bupa Dental Care team.

Soon after, he joined Bupa Dental Care Thornton-Cleveleys to deliver NHS treatments alongside the practice clinicians, and to provide some direct access treatments. Franz enjoys all aspects of his role but has a particular passion for restorative work.

He went on to work extensively in restorative and periodontal care, gaining significant experience at an array of NHS and private practices across Cumbria and Lancashire.

Vasundhara relocated to the UK in 2019 to undertake a postgraduate qualification in applied public health, and brings her professionalism and enthusiasm to her work each day as part of our fantastic team.

Zahraa enjoys working to the full scope of her practice as a therapist, and particularly enjoys working with children. She places a considerable emphasis on patient comfort and care, and strives to make each appointment a positive experience for adults and children alike.

He has since worked alongside many of the dentists at the practice as well as the therapists and hygienist. Alfie enjoys learning more every day and is excited to qualify towards the end of 2023, after which he plans to expand his training into more advanced areas. Alfie’s favourite part of the job is working with such an amazing team and being able to ensure patients have a comfortable and pleasant experience throughout their treatment.

Chantelle hopes to qualify towards the end of 2023, and is looking forward to seeing what her future brings as part of the Bupa Dental Care team.

Her role involves working closely with our dentist, Tom, with whom she treats patients, creating tailored treatment plans and ensuring their journey at our practice is as comfortable as possible. Danika is happy to work alongside such a supportive team in which everybody is willing to join forces to achieve the best results.

Gemma supports various clinicians within the practice with general dentistry, oral surgery, dental implants and endodontics. Gemma always puts patients at ease and ensures their patient journey exceeds their expectations. Gemma is also studying towards her NEBDN Implant Nursing Qualification.

She joined the team at Bupa Dental Care Thornton-Cleveleys in April 2023, and is continuing her training at our practice while expanding her knowledge and skills. Since joining the Thornton-Cleveleys team, Jessica has worked alongside several of our dentists and hygiene therapists, developing her skills to ensure a comfortable and successful patient experience.

An experienced and enthusiastic dental nurse, Lucy thoroughly enjoys general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and implant dentistry. She is constantly seeking ways to expand her dental knowledge and is currently studying for her NEBDN Dental Implant and Oral Surgery Nursing qualification. Lucy enjoys caring for patients and creating excellent patient journeys, making them feel as comfortable as possible.

She relishes the opportunity to learn something new every day, and enjoys meeting new patients and helping them along their journey at the practice. Maria values the cooperation of the wider team, who are always supportive and make each day enjoyable. She is very much looking forward to qualifying as a dental nurse and continuing her career with Bupa Dental Care.

She has worked extensively in private and NHS practices, in orthodontic and oral surgery departments, and recently joined us here at Bupa Dental Care Thornton-Cleveleys. Nicola enjoys working alongside our experienced clinicians, and being part of a dedicated and supportive clinical team.

Training and qualifications

Olivia qualified as a dental nurse in 2014. She worked as a dental nurse at Stanage and Stanage before Bupa acquired the practice in 2020. Olivia is currently studying towards her radiography qualification. She is always keen to expand her knowledge and skills to support her role and assists the clinical team and patients to create a relaxed, smooth and informed visit. Olivia has gained further training in Invisalign clear aligners to support her role as treatment coordinator.

Treatments offered

Having worked within our practice for all her dental nursing career, Samantha has now taken on the role of lead nurse and loves the challenges and responsibility that come with the job. She has worked with numerous dentists over the years and likes to provide patients with a positive patient journey from start to finish. Sam enjoys all aspects of dentistry and working with a fantastic team at Bupa Dental Care Thornton-Cleveleys.

Deborah has worked at various Bupa Dental Care practices throughout the North West, has extensive knowledge and experience in her field and is dedicated to her role. Deborah ensures that quality patient care and support is always delivered.

When she relocated to the Fylde in 2006, Julie progressed to lead receptionist and then practice coordinator, and now supports the practice manager to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

She is passionate about her role and working as part of a fantastic team, and recognises how the hard work and dedication of each team member comes together to provide the best results for our patients.

She thoroughly enjoys her role for a number of different reasons, but guiding patients along their treatment plans and seeing the successful results has always been number one. Seanene values the fantastic work the whole Thornton-Cleveleys team undertakes and recognises the importance of ensuring every patient feels comfortable. No matter how nervous the customer feels as they walk through the door, Seanene’s friendly welcome instantly builds a bond of trust which leads to a calm and comfortable patient journey.
