Peter Crockard is the regional clinical director of Bupa Dental Care. After graduating from Newcastle University in 2002, Peter spent 18 years in the Royal Army Dental Corps. This involved providing clinical dentistry in multiple locations, including the UK, Germany, Gibraltar, Afghanistan and Iraq. In 2009, he was fortunate to undertake a full time MSc in Conservative Dentistry with the Eastman Dental Institute, London.

He has a clinical background in restorative dentistry, including the provision of dental implant treatment and management of tooth surface loss.

During 10 of his years at the military, Peter worked as an enhanced practitioner of restorative dentistry. This included working at the military’s referral centre for five years, treating complex cases and injured personnel as part of a multi-disciplinary team which included a restorative consultant.
