Amy Aziz graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2018 with honours and is experienced in both NHS and private dentistry.

Amy joined our West Kirby practice in 2022. She particularly enjoys oral surgery, having spent five years working in hospitals as a senior house officer and specialty doctor in oral and maxillofacial surgery. In 2020 she achieved her Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery.

Bethan Hughes graduated from Sheffield University in 2011, and in 2013 passed examinations to gain membership of the faculty of dental surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Prior to joining us in August 2000, Clark was a dentist at Liverpool Dental Hospital and Royal Preston Hospital. Within these positions, he gained extensive knowledge and experience within the departments of oral surgery, conscious sedation, oral medicine, and special needs dentistry.

Julian Leiner Parry graduated from Birmingham in 2014. In 2017 Julian completed the 18 month PID implant course and has since received the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

He has undertaken several courses on advanced grafting techniques, surgical extractions, soft tissue surgery and sinus lifts. Julian also mentors on the Master’s in Dental Implantology program at the ICE Institute in Salford.

Julian is happy to work with referring dentists who would like to restore implants and insists upon close communication between both the clinicians and laboratory.

Laura’s role is a dental hygienist, but as a qualified dental therapist, she occasionally assists with fissure sealants, fillings, recementing of crowns, bridges and other procedures.

Kate joined our practice in November 2019, bringing her experience in various aspects of dentistry, including endodontics, oral surgery, restorative dentistry and cosmetic treatments. In her role, Kate continues to expand her knowledge through professional development courses and training.

Lucie joined our practice in July 2007, whilst training for her National Certificate in Dentistry, that she gained in August 2018.

In 2010, Lucie gained a qualification in Oral Health and Fluoride Application from the University of Lancashire. In her role at Bupa Dental Care West Kirby, she puts this into practice, organising children’s dental clinics, where she applies fluoride to children’s teeth, ideally every six months. This helps to prevent cavities in younger patients.

She is dedicated to her role, and regularly attends courses to remain in touch with the latest technologies and developments.

After attaining her dental nursing qualification in 2004, Rachel gained a certificate in Radiography for Dental Nurses in 2005 at the University of Bangor. Later in 2007, she also gained a certificate in Oral Health Education from Liverpool University Dental Hospital.

While assisting our dentist, James Eaton, Rachel has gained a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry and implantology. She has also attended courses regarding functional aesthetics in clinical practice, which has provided her with the experience to make and articulate study models and use digital photography.

In 1984 Jenny completed her training in dental nursing within the HM Forces, then went on to carry out her duties in the Ministry of Defence, in Hong Kong and Germany.

As well as assisting dentists in the surgery, Jenny enjoys spending a large proportion of her time working on reception at the practice.

Prior to joining us, Julie gained knowledge and experience in NHS dental care while working on reception at local practices on the Wirral.

She initially joined our practice to help set up and train team members when the practice became computerised. Although, when a receptionist position became available in 1997, she joined us in this role. And two years later, she assumed the position of practice manager.

Julie is passionate about her role and attends dental and management related courses regularly.
