Before moving to the UK, James was an associate professor at the University of Barcelona. During this time, Jaume was an author of eight scientific articles, a lecturer at several dental congresses and attended hundreds of courses, seminars and congresses to keep his knowledge up to date.

James studied for his dental degree and master's degree in Barcelona, where he was trained by several maxillofacial surgeons and well-known dentists from Europe and the USA. When he moved to the UK, James started working as an oral surgery consultant at the Royal South Hampshire Hospital, where James trained in sedation techniques before moving into private practice. He has a keen interest in placing dental implants, having placed more than 5,000 throughout his career. James prides himself on Jaume's positive, energetic and friendly nature. He accepts self-referrals and referrals from other dentists.
