While working at Bupa Dental Care Downend, Sam has developed interests in endodontics, cosmetic orthodontics, and conscious sedation.

Sam qualified as a dental therapist in 1994 before qualifying as a dentist from the Medical University of Southern Africa. Since he came to work at the practice, Sam has regularly undertaken courses to further develop his skills. His areas of interest lie in:

Restorative and cosmetic dentistry with particular interest to adhesive restorations (composite and white fillings)
Non-invasive or minimally invasive procedures including teeth whitening
Endodontics (root canal treatments)
Cfast orthodontics (cosmetic braces)

Sam accepts referrals for root canal treatment and all aspects of composite restorations (cosmetics).

Sam holds memberships of the British Endodontic Society, Dental Trauma UK, British Dental Bleaching Society, Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD), and the British Dental Association.
