Training and qualifications
After graduating in 2003 from Belgrade in Serbia, Eleftherios attended the Department of Oral Medicine in the University of Athens for Diagnosis and Treatment of Oral Diseases. They started their dental implant training in 2006 at the Université Lille II Droit et Santé in France and in 2007 attended the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Eleftherios was awarded a master's degree in Implant Dentistry in 2008 from the University of Manchester. They were awarded a diploma in conscious sedation for dentistry from King's College London the following year and elected as a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2016. They are a specialty doctor and a teacher in oral surgery at King's College Hospital, and honorary clinical teacher at King's College London. Outside implant dentistry Eleftherios enjoys traveling, photography, snowboarding and is a qualified open water and advanced scuba diver.
Treatments offered
In 2010, Eleftherios was elected to membership of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry, and in 2013, achieved the status of associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy. They have published and presented study on dental implants and sedation both nationally and internationally. Their research on dental implants focused on a single surgical appointment and most of Eleftherios's treatment plans are carried out this way. They are skilled and experienced with bone and soft tissue grafting techniques and multiple implant systems. Since 2021, they have undertaken further training to be able to offer zygomatic, pterygoid, transinus and transnasal implants. Eleftherios is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and formerly of the Association of Dental Implantology in the UK. They are popular with patients thanks to their enthusiasm, Eleftherios's communication skills and their talent for making patients feel relaxed and comfortable even during complex treatments. their two sons are the biggest aspiration and challenges in Eleftherios's life.
