Training and qualifications
After qualifying as a dentist in 2009, Sneha went on to gain a postgraduate diploma in dental clinical sciences at Queen Mary University of London. In 2014, she successfully qualified as a master of clinical dentistry in fixed and removable prosthodontics at Barts and The Royal London, Queen Mary University of London with distinction in her research dissertation project. Sneha was subsequently awarded MPros RCS (Edin) by the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, and is currently registered as a specialist in prosthodontics with the General Dental Council. On achieving her membership in prosthodontics, she worked as a clinical lecturer and specialty dentist in restorative dentistry at the University of Bristol Dental School, actively engaging with the academic and clinical teaching of both undergraduate and postgraduate dental students and the provision of restorative dental treatment to patients referred to the Dental Hospital. Sneha also teaches on other short continuing professional development (CPD) courses at the Eastman CPD Centre and also works part time as a clinical teacher at the Dental Institute of King's College London, where she teaches clinical dentistry to dental undergraduate students.
Treatments offered
Sneha then embarked on a specialty training programme in fixed and removable prosthodontics at Barts and The Royal London. These were patients often with complex treatment needs. She is currently working as a clinical teaching fellow in prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute where she plays an active role in teaching mainly prosthodontic elements to postgraduate dental students enrolled on the master's in restorative dental practice. As a specialist in prosthodontics, in addition to Sneha's role in the Kensington High Street practice, she works part time at The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre where she accepts referrals from Sneha's colleagues for patients requiring fixed and removable aspects of prosthodontic care. She specialises in full mouth rehabilitation, the management and treatment of complex tooth wear cases, and the replacement of missing teeth with removable partial dentures, complete dentures, implant retained fixed and removable prostheses. She also provides complex crown and bridgework, veneers, occlusal rehabilitation, management of jaw joint disorders including occlusal appliances, management of dental caries and in general restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
