In 2012 Amit achieved membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He went on to gain a postgraduate qualification in Conscious Sedation in Dentistry from University of Newcastle in 2016. In 2017 he was awarded a master's degree in Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons England, Amit has worked in busy maxillofacial units, dealing with maxillofacial soft and hard tissue trauma, and infections of the head and neck.

Amit completed his bachelor's degree at the The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2010. He has experience in a wide range of oral and maxillofacial diseases through Amit's work in outpatient consultation clinics. He has operated on a full range of oral surgery procedures under local and general anaesthetic, as well as conscious sedation his experience includes surgical removal of impacted teeth, soft and hard tissue biopsies, peri-radicular surgery, the surgical management of cysts and orthodontic oral surgery. Amit has postgraduate experience in oral medicine, pediatric dentistry, restorative, prosthetics, emergency clinics and special care dentistry. He has experience using restorative implants following head and neck oncology treatment.
