Training and qualifications
Medi Panahei qualified from Cardiff Dental School at the University of Cardiff in 2000. He worked as a Senior House Officer in the oral maxillofacial surgery department in the Royal Gwent Hospital, where he gained valuable surgical training in facial surgery.
Medi joined Bupa Dental Care in February 2002, replacing a retired colleague. He completed the Stepwise Dental Implant training course at Cardiff Dental School between 2004 and 2005, and he participated in a dental implant mentoring programme for a period of two years to enhance his surgical skills in treating different implant cases and bone grafting.
In 2011, Medi trained to become an Invisalign provider to straighten teeth. Medi has been a part time clinical lecturer in restorative dentistry at Cardiff Dental Hospital for some years, teaching undergraduate dental students.

Medi's clinical practice involves the treatment of all aspects of dental implant placement, restorative dentistry, Invisalign treatment and aesthetic dentistry.
