Training and qualifications

Yusuf graduated in dentistry from King’s College London in 2012. He worked in general practice as a foundation dentist before going on to complete three years of dental core training initially at multiple dental specialties at Guy’s Hospital London, and for two years in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Russells Hall Hospital Dudley. Here he managed patients who had sustained facial injuries and fractures as well as those requiring oral cancer surgery. Alongside these appointments, Yusuf also completed his examinations to attain the the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery.

Yusuf completed his oral surgery specialist training programme at Guy’s Hospital London and King’s College Hospital London in 2021. Following the completion of his specialist exams he became a GDC registered specialist oral surgeon and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. Yusuf has also published nine research papers in the field of oral surgery and is currently undertaking a postgraduate diploma in implant dentistry.

Treatments offered

Yusuf offers all forms of oral surgery at Bryer Wallace Belgravia. This includes the removal of impacted wisdom teeth and other difficult extractions, the coronectomy of high risk wisdom teeth, soft tissue biopsies of lesions in the mouth, exposure and bonding of impacted teeth for orthodontics, removal of benign cysts in the jaws, bone and socket grafting, sinus lifting and placing dental implants.

Yusuf prefers to be minimally invasive in all oral surgery procedures and particularly enjoys making the dental experience calming and comfortable for all patients. His aim is to provide a pleasant and relaxing dental experience for everyone who sees him.
