Training and qualifications
Fiona graduated from the University of Liverpool in December 2019. Before training as a dental hygienist and therapist, she worked as a dental nurse from 2009 until 2017 in all aspects of dentistry at a number of different surgeries in Northern Ireland and later in London. Her thirst grew for a more hands-on approach throughout her nursing career, and she progressed swiftly from a specialist and lead dental nurse to regional lead dental nurse managing 50 nurses across 10 sites in London. She has volunteered as a dental nurse at refugee camps in Greece and would love to return one day as a dental hygienist and therapist.
Treatments offered
Fiona has experience treating a broad spectrum of patients. She offers procedures for periodontal disease and cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening and airflow, accomplishing optimal standards of oral health for her patients. Fiona has a particular interest in making anxious patients feel at ease during their treatment, and prides herself in being thorough yet gentle.
Outside of work Fiona enjoys attending live gigs and festivals, travelling, practising yoga and availing of London’s green spaces and culture.
