Training and qualifications
Mehul Patel qualified from King’s College London in 2013. Following graduation, Mehul completed a year working in the oral and maxillofacial team in Luton and Dunstable, where Mehul gained the skills to deal with complex surgical treatments as well as the ablity to identify the signs of oral diseases.
He has completed his diploma for Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and has been working as a general dentist for several years.
In 2017, Mehul started an extensive three-year Periodontology Specialist training at Queen Mary's Dental Hospital, which he has now completed and is a registered specialist with the GDC.
Treatments offered
Mehul is passionate about periodontology and the important role it plays in the oral and general health of patients. Educating patients and stabilising severe periodontal disease is the basis of his treatment.
Mehul also enjoys surgical treatments such as teeth extractions and he is confident in the provision of dental implants. He has worked successfully with several restorative and general dentists to create a stable foundation for patients to then pursue further restorative or orthodontic treatment safely and confidently.
