Craig qualified from King’s College London in 1990. He spent one year in hospital dentistry in oral surgery and restorative dentistry with an emphasis on the treatment of gum disease - periodontology. He gained his PhD in periodontology from King’s College in 1995 and was awarded the Sir Wilfred Fish Prize by the British Society of Periodontology in 1995.
Craig has taught as lecturer in periodontology at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry where he also ran the Master of Clinical Dentistry course in periodontology for those dentists wishing to become specialists in the field.
He has accumulated a wealth of experience in implant dentistry since 1998 and treats a full range of cases from a single tooth to full arch reconstruction. Craig is experienced in the All-on-4® procedure and has received training at the Malo Clinic in Lisbon, the largest centre for implantology in the world. As well as implant dentistry, he has vast experience in general and aesthetic dentistry. He is also experienced in managing and treating diseases around implants such as peri-implantitis
Craig also has experience with hard and soft tissue regeneration and aesthetic gum reshaping techniques. As well as using regenerative materials, he incorporates them into his implant and restorative treatments to enhance results for his patients.
Craig recently gained his fellowship in laser dentistry from the University of Genoa and uses lasers routinely in his clinical practice.
