Our implant surgeon Georgios has placed and restored over 2,500 implants, providing a fixed and natural-looking solution for replacing missing or failing teeth. He also has a keen interest in oral surgery and aesthetic prosthodontics.

Training and qualifications

After relocating from Greece, Georgios gained a master’s degree in Dental Implantology from the University of Salford. He practised in implant clinics in locations across the UK, including Manchester, Cheshire and North Wales before joining our professional team at Malt House Specialist Dental Centre.

Georgios completed a two-day hands-on course which allowed him to master the gold standard for reconstructive surgery, offering reliable, predictable and successful outcomes with fewer complications. This covered autogenous bone augmentation, also known as the Khoury technique.

Georgios is an experienced provider of Smile in a Day dental implant treatment, also known as ‘All on 4-6.’ The treatment gives patients a confident, natural-looking smile in just one visit.

Georgios has a strong interest in restorative dentistry including crowns, bridgework, aesthetic prosthodontics and veneers. He also enjoys providing oral surgery including complex extractions, apicectomies, frenectomies and soft-tissue management. In each treatment, his philosophy is to provide a tailored plan to suit the specific circumstances of each patient. He’s aware that many patients can feel nervous about treatment, so he always aims to provide a relaxed and friendly environment.
