After qualifying from the University of Bristol, Harman completed vocational training in Grangemouth and stayed on in Scotland working in general practice in Edinburgh until 2010.

Harman focuses his practice of dentistry around prevention and minimally invasive treatment and as such, finds Invisalign (orthodontic system) a useful tool in providing care alongside veneers, crowns and composite bonding.

Outside the Practice, Harman is the elected chair of the BDA Young Dentists Committee and is engaged in representing the views of young dentists.
