Training and qualifications
Joanne graduated from Newcastle University in 2012 and has since gained experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery and restorative dentistry in hospital settings, as well as general dental practice in both NHS and private practice. Joanne was awarded a distinction in her MSc in clinical periodontology from the University of Central Lancashire and has had papers published in the fields of periodontology and restorative dentistry.

Her focus is in the care of periodontitis, as well as patient education and motivation to achieve long-lasting periodontal stability.
