Katie Baker

Katie has been at our practice since 2009 and takes a gentle and caring approach to hygiene treatment. She enjoys helping all her patients look after their oral health.

Katie initially completed a degree in Human Biology before deciding to study dentistry. She completed her BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy at the University of Birmingham in 2007. After graduating, Katie spent a year working in a busy NHS practice before relocating to Cornwall.

In 2019, Katie completed a postgraduate course in maintaining and treating peri-implant tissues with the Implant Centre of Excellence in Manchester, meaning she can provide focused oral hygiene care for our implant patients.

Katie has several other qualifications including completing the KT facial aesthetics training programme from Harley Street London, for facial aesthetic treatment under prescription. She has also worked at Plymouth University, teaching undergraduate dental and hygiene students.
