Nish graduated from Cardiff University in 2011 before going on to work as a senior house officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery. During their time as a senior house officer, they were awarded Membership to the Joint Dental Faculties by the Royal College of Surgeons. Nish has furthered their training by completing the Advanced Endodontic course with Aspire Dental Academy as well as undertaking a diploma in Restorative and Endodontic treatment.

Since 2013, Nish has worked in general dental practice while focusing their postgraduate training in Endodontology. They are a member of the British Endodontic Society and an active member of the Local Dental Committee. Nish currently works in primary care and takes internal referrals for endodontic treatment.
