In 2009, Anju embarked on a specialist training program in Periodontology with King's College London, based at Guy's Hospital. They are a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, European Federation of Periodontology and the British Society of Periodontology.

Anju then spent several years in general practice while working as a clinical teacher in dental radiography and radiology at Guy's Hospital. They have a passion for their work and are experienced in treating complex cases. Anju has a particular interest in managing severe gum problems, including gum overgrowth in younger people. They also have experience in managing failing dental implants.
