Dr Emma Holmes has worked at the practice since 2012, having previously served in the Royal Navy.

Emma has 15 years' experience working in private practice and has worked at the practice since January 2012.

After graduating, she worked in Glasgow for a year before joining the Royal Navy on a five-year commission. She worked in larger clinics and ran her own departments – one in Plymouth, the other on HMS Ocean.

Emma gained her Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2011 and is committed to ongoing professional training and development.

She enjoys building rapport with her patients by creating an open, caring and relaxed environment.

After qualifying from the University of Birmingham in 2004, Anju spent a year working at King's College London Dental Institute.

She then spent several years in general practice while working as a clinical teacher in dental radiography and radiology at Guy’s Hospital. In 2009, Anju embarked on a specialist training program in Periodontology with King’s College London, based at Guy’s Hospital.

Anju has a passion for her work and is experienced in treating complex cases. She has a particular interest in managing severe gum problems, including gum overgrowth in younger people. She also has experience in managing failing dental implants.

Anju is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, European Federation of Periodontology and the British Society of Periodontology.

Anthony focuses solely on providing dental implants and oral surgery at our practice. He has placed over 4,000 implants throughout his dental career.

Taran joined us in 2022 and is our in-house registered endodontist. She qualified in 2008 with BDS (Hons) and completed her specialist training at Guys’ Hospital King’s College London in 2020. She has also been awarded an MClinDent with distinction.

Taran joined us in 2022 and is our in-house registered endodontist. She qualified in 2008 with BDS (Hons) and completed her specialist training at Guys’ Hospital King’s College London in 2020. She has also been awarded an MClinDent with distinction.

Taran has been awarded speciality membership from the Royal College of Surgeons of both England and Edinburgh. She’s a member of professional societies such as the British Endodontic Society and Dental Trauma UK and regularly attends conferences organised by the ESE (European Society of Endodontics). As part of Taran’s postgraduate training, she was involved in various fields of research including the outcome of root canal treatments, dental trauma and the use of CBCT scans in endodontics. Her efforts and contributions resulted in her becoming a co-author of an academic paper published in the Journal of Endodontics in 2021.

Treatments that Taran provides include root canal treatment, surgical endodontics and the management of broken-down teeth, teeth with developmental defects and teeth which may have been traumatised due to dental injury. She’s happy to accept internal and external referrals for the complex diagnosis of dental pain, as well as for a diversity of treatments. She performs all procedures to a high standard whilst using an operating microscope.

Alongside her role at our practice, Taran has a continuing role with King’s College London, involving teaching and examining postgraduate students on the Distance Learning MSc Endodontics programme.
