Training and qualifications
Meena graduated in dentistry from King's College London in 2004. During this period, Meenakshi achieved the Diploma of the Membership of Joint Dental Faculties awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons, England. She also attained Membership in Periodontics by Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
Treatments offered
Meena spent the early years of her professional career working in general dental practices in Yorkshire and London. Meena also worked in general dental practice in Singapore for several years treating a wide range of patients, which is where she developed a keen professional interest in periodontics. Meena completed an extensive four-year specialist training in periodontics at Guy's Hospital in London and was awarded a master's degree in clinical dentistry. She obtained the Best Exam Case prize in 2021 and was involved in undergraduate student teaching. Meena regularly attends conferences to gain knowledge on the current evidence-based practices in periodontics and has also contributed to publications in peer-reviewed clinical journals. She is a member of many dental associations including the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. Treatments offered Meena focuses on delivering the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gum and peri-implant disease and is highly regarded for Meenakshi's thoroughness and places patient care at the centre of her work. She specialises in both non-surgical treatment and advanced gum therapy for the treatment of gum disease including periodontal regeneration and treatment for gum recession such as gum grafts. Meenakshi also completes crown lengthening surgery in aesthetic and functional cases.
