If you've got Bupa Dental Insurance. You can choose how you make a claim, whether it's for preventative, restorative, emergency, or oral cancer treatment.
For preventative treatment, you can submit a claim via the My Bupa app.
Just upload your receipt or invoice and follow the in-app instructions on your phone or tablet to complete your claim. You can also do this on your computer.
For other types of treatments, you'll need to submit a little more information. Follow the same steps and upload a receipt that includes your dentist's name, practice name and postcode. The name of the person being treated, confirmation that treatment has taken place and proof that you have paid for the treatment.
Some Bupa dental practices also offer Instant Claim, a service that means we can pay the practice directly up to your benefits allowances. Just let the receptionist know after your appointment and leave the rest to us.

What does my dental insurance cover?

Extensive cover
You’re covered for dental injuries and emergencies, as well as restorative treatment. That’s things like fillings, crowns, or bridges. We also offer comprehensive oral cancer cover as standard*.

*We do not cover oral cancer that was diagnosed or for which you had symptoms or investigations before your cover start date. If your group is transferring your dental insurance from another provider to us, we’ll provide continuous cover so long as you had dental insurance via the previous provider and your policy covered against oral cancer.
