Our Bupa Blua Health digital GP service lets your employees talk to a doctor within 24 hours via video or phone call – without having to go anywhere.‡ They could also talk to a prescribing nurse, a mental health practitioner, a pharmacist or a physiotherapist. That means less waiting time, right-first-time answers to health worries, and less stress about trying to fit GP appointments into busy schedules.
This service is available as part of our small business health insurance policies and our corporate schemes, unless you choose to opt out of Bupa Blua Health. Calls are unlimited and won’t affect your claims.

The service includes an AI-powered Symptom Checker,‡‡ providing instant health information, advice and next steps. It can offer timely reassurance to busy people.
Medication delivered to the door
Delivery is available to any chosen address within 24 or 48 hours. Or, if it’s needed sooner, employees can collect from a local pharmacy instead, usually within the hour.†††
Use your usual Bupa sign-in details
Employees can book appointments, track their medication, check their symptoms and access their records using their usual Bupa sign-in (as for Bupa Touch or Be.Me, for example).

Bupa Blua Health offers invaluable insights into the health of your workforce
Information is power. That’s why our digital GP service offers you helpful data about the health of your employees, enabling you to make better informed decisions about your employee benefits and future wellbeing strategies. Our dashboards and reports use clinically validated management information and can help to prove your return on investment (ROI).
These insights are available to businesses using bespoke validation codes. All data is anonymised and aggregated, and is stored on secure servers.

††Bupa Blua Health is UK-based but you can download the app and use some of its features from anywhere – as long as you have a reliable network connection. Our services follow UK laws and regulations when you’re using them from abroad. Local restrictions mean you can’t speak to a UK clinician through Bupa Blua Health from Australia, Canada, China, Germany, New Zealand, South Africa, or the USA. Before booking, please check for any local restrictions on consulting with a clinician outside of the country you’re in at the time. There are some locations in Europe where you may be able to pick up your private prescription. Please let the clinician know during your appointment if you’re outside of the UK, so they can best advise you.

†††Bupa Blua Health prescriptions are private, so you’ll need to pay for your medication. There’s no extra charge for ‘click and collect’ from a local pharmacy or for delivery to your door. Collection is usually available with 60 minutes, depending on your pharmacy opening hours, and selected pharmacies are open at weekends. Depending on your location, delivery to your door can be within 24 or 48 hours (other than on bank holidays).

Terms and conditions
- In these terms and conditions, references to “Bupa” are to Bupa Insurance Limited, which may act through its agent Bupa Insurance Services Limited.
- Eligible clients will receive free access to a Bupa Dental Plan Level 1 (the “Dental Plan”) in the first year of cover (the “Offer”) when purchasing a new Bupa Select Company PMI Policy (the “Select Policy”) subject to these terms and conditions. The Offer cannot be used against any other Bupa product or service.
- The Offer is available to UK based small or medium sized corporate entities (including, for example, companies, partnerships, and associations) covering between 2 and 249 employees inclusive (“SMEs”) who purchase a new Select Policy directly from Bupa.
- The Offer is available to new and switching SME clients and is not available for the following:
- a. SME clients who purchase their Select Policy through an intermediary; or
- b. existing Bupa clients who hold a policy for any Bupa product or service.
- The Offer will not be applied in subsequent policy years. If you wish to continue access to the Dental Plan for members of the Select Policy after the first year of cover, you must request this at renewal of your Select Policy and pay any applicable fees and charges.
- The Offer is only available for new and switching SME clients for whom a quote is provided for a Select Policy between 2 October 2023 and 30 November 2023 inclusive. Quotes are valid for 28 days and the Select Policy must start between 2 October 2023 and 30 November 2023 inclusive. Bupa’s standard Terms of Business and Bupa Select Policy Terms & Conditions will apply.
- All employees (main members) covered from the Select Policy start date (excluding dependents) will be eligible to access the Dental Plan during the first year of cover as long as they continue to be covered by the Select Policy for any reason will not be eligible to access the Dental Plan.
- When calculating renewal prices for a Select Policy, Bupa considers additional factors such as (but not limited to) claims history, age of members, the rising cost of healthcare and Insurance Premium Tax, which will be factored into each year’s renewal subscription.
- Bupa reserves the right to decline to offer a Select Policy in its absolute discretion and Bupa’s decision regarding any aspect of this promotion is final.
- Bupa reserves the right to cancel, suspend, amend or withdraw the Offer at any point without prior notice.
- The Offer is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, has no cash value/alternative and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or offers except for Bupa’s free 2-year Fixed Rate offer (the “Fixed Rate Offer”) which allows new SME clients to fix the rate of the Select Policy for 2 years subject to separate terms and conditions, and Bupa’s free WorkNest offer (the “Growth+ Offer”) subject to additional terms and conditions.
- The Fixed Rate Offer is not available for the following:
- a. SME clients who are switching from an alternative company health insurance provider; or
- b. SME clients who purchase their Select Policy through an intermediary; or
- c. existing Bupa clients who hold a policy for any Bupa product or service.
- The Fixed Rate Offer guarantees the rate of the Select Policy for 2 years. However, this is not protected from any increases in Insurance Premium Tax (“IPT”) at the first renewal. Changes to the Select Policy made during the 2-year fixed period may also affect the rate at the first renewal, although the rate per member will remain fixed. Examples of changes to the Select Policy include (but are not limited to): adding or removing members from the Select Policy, complimentary babies becoming paid-for child dependants at the first renewal, and child-dependants reaching the age of 24 during the first fixed year who would then be required to pay the adult rate in the second fixed year.
- Please note, you may not be able to amend the benefit options of the Select Policy at your first renewal when choosing the Fixed Rate Offer. Examples of benefit options include (but are not limited to) facility access, out-patient limits and levels of excess.
- When calculating renewal prices for a Select Policy after the Fixed Rate Offer has ended, Bupa considers additional factors such as (but not limited to) claims history, age of members, the rising cost of healthcare and IPT, which will be factored into each year’s renewal subscription.
- The WorkNest Offer is not available for the following:
- a. SME clients who are covering more than 25 members on their Select Policy; or
- b. SME clients who are switching from an alternative company health insurance provider; or
- c. SME clients who purchase their Select Policy through an intermediary; or
- d. existing Bupa clients who hold a policy for any Bupa product or service.
- Eligible clients for the WorkNest Offer will receive access to WorkNest’s HR support service for SMEs during the first year of cover when purchasing a new Select Policy. The WorkNest Offer cannot be used against any other Bupa product or service. This service is provided by WorkNest Limited.
- The WorkNest Offer is only available for new Eligible SME clients for whom a quote is provided for a Select Policy between 3 January 2023 and 29 December 2023 inclusive. Quotes are valid for 28 days and the Select Policy must have a start date between 3 January 2023 and 29 December 2023 inclusive. Bupa’s standard Terms of Business and Bupa Select Policy Terms & Conditions will apply.
- Bupa will use any personal information in accordance with its privacy notice which can be found at bupa.co.uk/privacy
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bupa and its group companies shall not be liable to the SME client or any of its employees for any claims, damages, losses or any other liabilities whatsoever arising under or in connection with the operation of the Offer.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
