Training and qualifications

Faizan has a master’s degree in dental research, and he is proud to have had a number of prestigious publications in gum grafting techniques. He continues his passion for research at the University of Manchester, where he is extensively involved in postgraduate education and training dentists on some of the more complex aspects of periodontics.

Faizan graduated from University College Cork Dental School in 2009 with several undergraduate awards and scholarships, including the prestigious national H.H. Stuart prize in Dentistry. Since qualifying, he has engaged in a wide variety of clinical and academic experiences, working in private practices, general hospitals, as well as a University Dental Hospital setting.

Faizan takes great pride in delivering quality clinical care using cutting edge techniques, with outstanding attention to detail, in a respectful and caring manner. Faizan is eager to build strong relations with his patients and is held in high regard by his dental colleagues.

Alongside undertaking clinical work Faizan is a Regional Clinical Dentist for Bupa Dental Care, where he is responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care are maintained across the region.

Apart from his professional attributes he is an accomplished classical and electric guitar player. In his spare time he is a keen player and spectator of football. He also loves art and has a modest portfolio of charcoal and pencil sketches.
