Sofía gained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006 from the University of Murcia in Spain. In 2007, she completed a postgraduate course in endodontics run by the University of Valencia. She worked in Spain from 2007 until she moved to the UK with her husband in 2013.

Sofia is currently focusing on developing her skills in cosmetic dentistry.
