This dental practice located in the heart of Essex in Chelmsford, has been looking after patients since the late 70s. Today, we offer a range of NHS and private dental treatments, including emergency appointments. We’re accepting new private patients.
Dental treatments and services
At Bupa Dental Care Chelmsford, New London Road, we provide a range of general dentistry services, such as check-ups, hygiene appointments and fillings. And we offer more complex treatments too, including dental implants.
We also offer cosmetic dental treatments to boost your confidence and brighten your smile – everything from veneers to teeth whitening, using products like Philips ZOOM! And with our orthodontic treatment, using products such as Invisalign, we can help you achieve straighter teeth. We're pleased to offer periodontal and endodontic treatment, too.

We know our patients lead busy lives, so we offer extended opening hours. We’re open until 7pm Monday to Thursday and operate Saturday clinics.
How to find Bupa Dental Care Chelmsford
We’re on New London Road, which is the main road into and out of the town centre. It’s just a five-minute drive out of town and we have free parking for our patients. Plenty of local buses stop on New London Road and we’re just a 15-minute walk away from Chelmsford train station.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
