Since qualifying Kate has regularly attended courses and is committed to professional development. They have recently completed a BSc (Hons) in Dental Studies at UCLan University.

Kate is committed to providing the best possible care for their patients, and has an interest in treating patients with advanced periodontal disease with non-surgical periodontal therapy, as well as supporting patients throughout their implant journey. They believe a dental hygienist plays an important role in educating patients on how to care for their oral health, and understanding the benefit this can have on their overall health. For the past ten years, Kate has been involved with the British Society for Dental Hygiene and Therapy in their northwest regional group.
