Ghasoon qualified from the University of Manchester in 1999 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She completed her vocational training year in Surrey and then returned home to Cheshire where she has continued to practice for the past 18 years.

In 2011, she was awarded the MJDF diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a postgraduate certificate in Endodontics from the University of Chester. Ghasoon is known for having a quiet and calming manner with her patients.

Since qualifying Kate has regularly attended courses and is committed to professional development. She has recently completed a BSc (Hons) in Dental Studies at UCLan University. For the past ten years, Kate has been involved with the British Society for Dental Hygiene and Therapy in their northwest regional group.
