Joseph McDonald, known to his patients as Joe, studied at Sheffield university and went on to work in the NHS around North Wales for several years. Following this, he made the move to private practice so he could spend longer giving the very best treatments to his patients.

As someone who spent most of his younger years as an artist and artisan furniture maker, Joe finds the sculptural aspect of fine composite work very fulfilling and is passionate about the recreation of the tooth shape and structure.

Joe accepts referrals for cosmetic work including composite veneers. Alongside his interests in cosmetic procedures, he has developed a great understanding of periodontal disease. Joe has completed several high-profile periodontal courses run by Ian Dunn, a periodontal specialist who inspired him to use his protocol leading to fantastic results.

In his spare time, Joe has a keen interest in climbing, mountain biking and walking, which is what brought him to the area and is one of the many reasons he fell in love with Wales.
