Adrian Binney

Adrian qualified from Cardiff University and following several house positions in restorative dentistry and oral maxillofacial surgery where he gained valuable surgical training and training in restorative dentistry, he returned to Cardiff in 1994 to complete a master’s in periodontology.
During this period of hospital training, he completed and was awarded a fellowship of the Faculty of Dental Surgery in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
In 1997, Adrian was invited to join The Parade team and has since continued his training in dental implantology in the UK, Germany and the USA. Adrian has been recognised as a specialist in periodontics (the treatment of gum disease) by the General Dental Council in periodontology since 2000.
Adrian is the past chairman of the Cardiff and South Wales British Dental Association and Wales’ past representative and board member of The Association of Dental Implantology.
Adrian is a part-time clinical lecturer at the Cardiff University School of Dentistry. He teaches on the master’s degree course in Dental Implantology, and the postgraduate Dental Implant Stepwise Course and master’s programme. He has also lectured on restorative dentistry at Bristol Dental School.
Adrian has been a clinical lecturer in restorative dentistry at Cardiff Dental Hospital for some years now teaching dental implantology at both a diploma and master’s level. He’s also regularly invited to speak at various meetings throughout the UK presenting individual lectures and full-day surgical training courses for postgraduate dentists in dental implantology and surgical periodontology.
Adrian’s clinical practise involves the treatment of all aspects of dental implantology, restorative dentistry and aesthetic dentistry. His particular area of expertise lies within the treatment management of periodontal disease.
