The Parade Specialist Dental Centre is a multi-specialist private practice in Wales that has been providing experienced dental services since 1923. We are proud to have treated patients from across Wales and as far as London to visit our team and enjoy

The Parade Specialist Dental Centre experience. We offer all aspects of restorative and aesthetic dentistry, and advanced periodontics, and we accept referrals from other dentists.

From routine check-ups to dental implants, endodontics, teeth whitening, veneers, facial aesthetics and sophisticated orthodontic treatments, our team of skilled professionals are well-equipped to provide the right treatment for your needs.

We’re committed to providing open and honest information about all areas of your dental treatment, and we aim to make your visits to The Parade relaxed and enjoyable. We pride ourselves on creating an environment that helps our patients feel at ease and have a dental clinician among the team who’s a member of the organisation, Dental Phobia, who focuses on treating dentally phobic and anxious patients.

Our specialists and surgeons are all highly qualified and well-respected in their fields. Most have been or continue to be involved in research, teaching and examining. Many have treated patients at prestigious university teaching hospitals in the UK, Europe or North America.

We offer flexible opening hours to suit your schedule – we offer appointments up to 7pm on Mondays, and Tuesdays every other week.

We’re a multi-disciplinary centre offering advanced treatment in periodontics, endodontics and restorative dentistry.

How to find us

We’re on The Parade, just outside of Cardiff City Centre. It’s a short walk to the centre from Cardiff Queen Street Train Station and various bus stops surround the Practice where you can connect with local services. If you’re driving to us, there is nearby pay and display parking.

Carly Hancock

Carly has worked at The Parade since 2011. She qualified from Cardiff University and is also qualified to take radiographs and deliver tooth whitening under prescription from a dentist.

Robyn Ventrice

Robyn was previously part of The Parade team back in 2014 as a trainee dental nurse. She returned to The Parade in 2017 as a qualified dental hygienist after completing her diploma at Cardiff University.

Catherine Oliver

Catherine has worked at the Practice since 1998, working alongside Adrian. She has a keen interest in complex surgery, especially with apprehensive patients.

Daniela Parker

Daniela joined The Parade as a trainee dental nurse in 2013, where she trained alongside our specialist team and qualified in 2016. She regularly works alongside our clinician, Michael.

Gemma Norman

Gemma joined The Parade practice in 2009 and has a qualification in radiography.

Kasia Szolonik

After working in various NHS and private dental practices, Kasia joined The Parade in early 2017 for the opportunity to work in specialist dentistry.

Laura Martlew

Laura trained at the Heath University Hospital and joined The Parade team after qualifying. She went on to qualify in radiography in 2012. Laura has a keen interest in implant nursing and surgical procedures.

Sarah Wiltshire

Sarah has worked at The Parade since 2006, and has undertaken additional training in dental radiography and implantology.

Tracy started her career in dentistry in 2007 as a dental nurse. She joined The Parade team in 2017 bringing her nine years’ experience in dental management and 11 years of patient care within dentistry.

Branded treatments and services

Whitening can be an important part of a smile makeover. We always check the suitability of your teeth, as it may not be recommended for some patients with high sensitivity. It’s important to know that we may not be able to treat all of your teeth: whitening can’t alter the colour of fillings, crowns, veneers, for example. Your dentist can explain and suggest any options open to you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

No, Bupa Dental Care practices are open to everyone. If you do have Bupa dental insurance, at selected practices we can guide you through your claim.
