A specialist private clinic in Cardiff

We pride ourselves on creating an environment that helps our patients feel at ease and have a dental clinician among the team who’s a member of the organisation, Dental Phobia, who focuses on treating dentally phobic and anxious patients.

Our specialists and surgeons are all highly qualified and well-respected in their fields. Most have been or continue to be involved in research, teaching and examining. Many have treated patients at prestigious university teaching hospitals in the UK, Europe or North America.

We offer flexible opening hours to suit your schedule – we offer appointments up to 7pm on Mondays, and Tuesdays every other week.

Our dental referral services

We’re a multi-disciplinary centre offering advanced treatment in periodontics, endodontics and restorative dentistry.

How to find us

We’re on The Parade, just outside of Cardiff City Centre. It’s a short walk to the centre from Cardiff Queen Street Train Station and various bus stops surround the Practice where you can connect with local services. If you’re driving to us, there is nearby pay and display parking.

Reducing our carbon footprint

Our practice is delighted to be signed up to the Greener Primary Care Framework and Award Scheme - we are actively taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint. The climate emergency is also a health emergency. We therefore aim to enhance the health of our practice population and offer sustainable choices in how we operate and the services we offer to our patients. This will provide benefits to the NHS, your health and the carbon footprint of healthcare.

Implants at The Parade Specialist Dental Centre

If you have one or more missing teeth, and are looking for high quality, long-lasting and discreet treatment, our clinicians are experienced in placing dental implants. Dental implants can last as long as your natural teeth if you care for them properly. Tailored to your smile, each dental implant is carefully created bespoke to you. Branded treatments and services

Whitening can be an important part of a smile makeover. We always check the suitability of your teeth, as it may not be recommended for some patients with high sensitivity. It’s important to know that we may not be able to treat all of your teeth: whitening can’t alter the colour of fillings, crowns, veneers, for example. Your dentist can explain and suggest any options open to you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

No, Bupa Dental Care practices are open to everyone. If you do have Bupa dental insurance, at selected practices we can guide you through your claim.

First, please check that our practice offers the services you’re looking for, then simply use the referral form on our contact page. Do feel free to give us a call and tell us what you’re looking for.
