A warm welcome from the whole team

This friendly dental practice, half-way between Poole and Bournemouth, has been caring for local people for over 20 years. We offer a wide range of dental treatments both privately and on the NHS. We’re a busy practice, currently accepting new private patients.

If you’re in pain or have a problem, and need an emergency dentist appointment, do give us a call as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to fit you in. And if you’re a nervous patient, don’t worry – we understand; just ask if you’d be suitable for sedation.

For your convenience

We know you’re busy, so we’re open untill 7pm on Mondays and Thursdays. We’re fully wheelchair friendly, and we have our own free car park at the back. Do help yourself to a free coffee during your short wait.

Our dental treatments

Besides general dentistry, such as check-ups, fillings and hygiene appointments, we offer a range of cosmetic, orthodontic and restorative dentistry treatments. This includes veneers and dental implants. We also treat TMJ disorders, where patients have pain in the jaw.

For cosmetic teeth straightening, we fit Invisalign, Six Month Smiles, Cfast and Inman Aligner braces. And to brighten that lovely smile, ask us about Philips Zoom! teeth whitening.

How to find us

Our practice is on Madeira Road in Poole, between Ashley Road and Alexandra Road, close to Alexandra Park. You’ll soon spot our low-rise brick building set at an angle.

Dentist referrals

We welcome referrals from other dentists in the Poole, Bournemouth and the wider Dorset area, and even beyond. Feel free to get in touch – and you’re welcome to come and meet the team and take the tour.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
