Training and qualifications
Originally from a small village outside of Helensburgh, Michael graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2019 and completed their vocational training year on the Isle of Bute. In their final year of university, Michael was awarded the Pitt-Ford Prize from the British Endodontic Society as the most distinguished undergraduate in the field of endodontology (root canal treatment). In addition, they are a Vocational Trainer and mentors new graduate dentists as they make the transition to working within the NHS.
Treatments offered
Michael has a particular interest in routine restorative dentistry and minor oral surgery. They relocated to Fife in 2020 and joined the team at Bupa Dental Care St Andrews. They are a provider of Invisalign aligners, a discreet alternative to metal braces. Michael also provides general dentistry, routine restorative dentistry and minor oral surgery. Outside of dentistry, they enjoy going on road trips and exploring the country with their Romanian rescue dog, Sandy. Michael is also currently learning French and Scottish Gaelic.
