Cheten has additional training in cosmetic dentistry.
After qualifying in 2001, Cheten worked as a general dentist in Birmingham for 16 years. During this time, he was an honorary clinical lecturer for the University of Birmingham and a vocational trainer with the West Midlands Deanery, training newly qualified dentists.
