Fayaz completed his dental degree from the University of Sheffield in 2008 and subsequently gained experience in general practice. In 2014, he spent time training in short-term orthodontics and completed courses in Six Month Smiles, Cfast treatment, lingual braces and SmileTru braces. In 2014, Fayaz enrolled on the prestigious MSc course in Dental Implantology at the University of Bristol under the guidance of Dr Jonathan Schofield, which he completed in 2018. In 2015, he also joined the restorative MSc course at Manchester University under the guidance of Steven Davis, which Fayaz successfully completed in 2017. He keeps his knowledge up to date and has recently been to the Besler course in Bristol, the Createch course in Spain, the Straumann course in Berlin and the Buser course in Bern. As well as Fayaz's experience providing orthodontics and sedation, he has also completed a course in peri-implantitis by Professor Lang and Professor Donos; and is trained to undertake complex implant treatment.

Fayaz has a particular interest in periodontics, endodontics and dental implants. In 2010, he undertook further training with the SAAD in dental sedation and also began providing Invisalign and Inman aligner treatment. He then spent two years working as a sedation dentist at the Greater Manchester Anaesthetic Centre, where Fayaz provided treatment under IV sedation. He is committed to providing quality care and undertakes all his treatment with 6x magnification. This ranges from sinus lifts and peri-implantitis to oral rehabilitation and complex aesthetic cases. Fayaz enjoys working with all his colleagues at Bupa Dental Care Watford because of the positive attitude and teamwork at the practice.
