After qualifying from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Minesh completed a master’s degree in the field of advanced aesthetic and restorative dentistry. He also completed postgraduate training in surgical and prosthetic implantology in Cambridge. During this time, he became an accredited provider for various cosmetic braces including near-invisible aligners.

Minesh joined the Thames Ditton team in 2015 and provides general and advanced dental services. He has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry and is also experienced in treating children and believes building relationships with youngsters can make all the difference to their future oral health.

Noman was born in Germany but grew up in the UK. After qualifying from King’s College London, he spent three years consolidating his skills in general dental practice in London. He quickly developed an interest in endodontics, which led to him pursuing advanced training in endodontics at King’s College London, leading to the award of a master’s degree.

Noman was awarded membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015.

Before joining the Thames Ditton practice, Noman held a position as a clinical teacher of endodontics at King’s College London and Guy’s Hospital.

Sharon is an experienced orthodontist.

Sharon has worked as a consultant orthodontist since 2009 and is trained to a high level. She has lectured internationally including at the British, European, and American Orthodontic Conferences.

Sharon is well regarded by both fellow orthodontists as well as dentists. She was one of the first specialist orthodontists to use Invisalign appliances and remains an early adopter of new orthodontic technologies. Sharon has developed techniques to minimise the number of extractions needed to achieve results that are stable, healthy and enhance aesthetics.

Sharon also applies her orthodontics experience to treat patients with severe jaw discrepancies needing both orthodontics and jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery).

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
