A word from our Practice Manager, Andreea Pavel
Bupa Dental Care Chelsea is located on the busy and vibrant Fulham Road. We have three fully-equipped surgeries, where we treat our NHS and private patients in well-lit and relaxing comfort.
Two of our surgeries have microscopes and we have a cone beam CT scanner (CBCT), which we use for 3D scans when diagnosing temporomandibular joint (TMJ) problems, implant placing, periodontics (treatment of diseases of the gums, bones and teeth) and endodontic treatments, such as root canal.
We have one surgery on the ground floor, which allows us to provide wheelchair access.
We welcome referrals from other practices or self-referral for our broad range of specialist services. We hold specialist open evenings and study clubs. We also work closely with the Bupa Cromwell Hospital for maxillofacial treatment, dental trauma, oral pathology or head and neck referrals.
We offer general dentistry among specialist treatments, which include oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, implants (including full restoration), restorative and cosmetic work. We also offer orthodontic treatment, using systems such as Invisalign and Cfast.
We support our patients with teeth whitening both in surgery and with home kits. And we have a team of hygienists who will take care of your teeth and gums most days, including weekends.
A flexible practice
Bupa Dental Care Chelsea is open seven days a week to suit our patients’ busy lifestyles. We’re open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday (except bank holidays), 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and 10am to 3pm on Sundays.
If you’re a nervous patient, we may be able to offer you sedation, so get in touch.

Of our patients surveyed say ‘I feel involved in all decisions about my care.’
No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
