With Bupa, you’ll have access to support from a named specialist nurse or trained counsellor offering emotional support. You can also talk to our specialist team about Bupa's Live Well With Cancer Programme, which can help you manage your health from diagnosis through to and during your recovery.
We have a range of accredited units that meet our strict criteria for the treatment of common forms of cancer such as breast, bowel and prostate.
If you’re worried you might have cancer, you can call us directly on 0345 609 0111^ and speak to someone about your symptoms. Our trained advisers will give you clear advice on what to do next. Depending on your cover and the nature of your symptoms, they could refer you for an appointment with a consultant there and then†.
Any treatment or care will be subject to the terms of your policy. Dependent on your underwriting terms, you may be required to see your GP for a medical report.
Please call us on 0345 609 0111^ to arrange an assessment.
^Lines are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. We may record or monitor our calls.
†Direct Access telephone services are available as long as the symptoms are covered under your policy. If your cover excludes conditions you had before your policy started, we’ll ask you to provide evidence from a GP that your symptoms are not pre-existing for a period of up to two years after your policy start date or up to five years in the case of mental health. For rolling moratorium underwritten policies we will ask for evidence each time you claim for a condition not claimed for before. Always call us first to check your eligibility.
