Sarmite has experience in various fields of general dentistry including dental surgery, endodontics and prosthodontics.

In 2014, she completed, with distinction, comprehensive restorative dentistry training at King’s College London leading to the prestigious MClinDent in fixed and removable prosthodontics.

Sarmite’s professional interests lie in aesthetic dentistry, smile makeovers and multidisciplinary treatments. In addition, she has experience in treating mild apnoea and snoring with various appliances, and teeth whitening, using systems including Enlighten and Philips ZOOM!.

Sarmite also has a special interest in orthodontics and offers a wide range of private orthodontic treatments for adults. She can provide fixed braces with various orthodontic systems including the Damon system and lingual orthodontics as well as short-term orthodontics (Six Month Smiles), clear aligners (Invisalign, Smilelign) and removable appliances.

After qualifying in Wales in 2000, Vinay has been in general practice ever since. While he practices in all aspects of dentistry, he has a special interest in implantology and has been involved in the surgical placement and restoration of implants since 2000.

In this time, Vinay has successfully placed 100’s of implants and has experience of different systems, including Astra, Noble Biocare and Bio Horizon.

Vinay is experienced in all forms of oral surgery relating to implantology including sinus lifts, block bone grafting, soft tissue surgery and guided bone regeneration.

Vinay is also experienced in providing sedation, having received training from the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry. He can provide conscious sedation techniques for particularly anxious or nervous patients.

In 2014, Vinay was awarded the Faculty of General Dental Practice diploma in implant dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. The diploma involved postgraduate studies based in London and Frankfurt and Tubingen.

Vinay takes an active interest in furthering his professional development and is an active member of the Association of Dental Implantology.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
